Every year my husband, kids, and myself all go up to Bonner Springs, KS to celebrate Christmas with my family. It’s about a 3.5 hour drive from Hutchinson and we were expecting severe weather Christmas day – everything from thunderstorms to tornadoes, while the east, west, and north United States were all being blanketed in snow. This year we traveled to Bonner Springs on Christmas Even and came back on Christmas Day. I was nervous about making it home safely due to the forecast.

Sure enough, on the way home we hit the line of the front sweeping through the state. I was on the interstate traveling 75mph when BAM! ZERO visability! I was in the left hand lane and could only catch glimpses of the yellow line. I knew I couldn’t pull off to the left because there was a median there. I couldn’t try to move over the right and pull over because… zero visability… I had no way of knowing who was over there. So I couldn’t stop. So I focused all my attention on that little yellow line and simply let my foot off the gas and hoped and prayed that no one rear ended me because they couldn’t see me. This lasted a sum total of about 60 seconds but it felt like an eternity. Finally we came out the other side of the line and I realized we were near the Emporia exit. So I told my husband who was in the car behind me that I was pulling over to stop.

Still shaken, we got out and utilized the restrooms then walked around the truck stop looking for drinks and a snack. As I was checking out, I looked over and saw a box (just like the one in this picture) of Driving Energy Chocolates for just $0.99. Intrigued, I purchased one and ate it once I got back to the car. It was delicious! The wrapper said it contained Ginseng (50mg), Caffeine (150mg), Ashwagandha (50mg), and Maca (50mg). It’s dark chocolate which only has 4.5g of sugar too!

About 15 minutes later, I suddenly felt super alert – colors seemed more vivid and my mind felt so alive and awake! It was unlike anything I had ever experienced.  I was so impressed by these chocolates that I looked up the company when I got home. I tried finding them on Amazon first but they apparently do not sell through Amazon. Bummer. In fact, from what I could tell, the only way to purchase their delicious and amazing chocolates was through their website or at a truck stop which carries their products.

So I found them on Facebook and reached out to them. I told them my story (in a much more abbreviated fashion of course) and asked what the difference was between their Driving Energy and their regular energy formula. They replied back quickly and explained that the energy had half the caffeine but twice the adaptogens (Ginseng, Ashwagandha, and Maca) as the Driving Energy. I thanked them for their time and explanation and promised to order some soon.
About a week later, I received another message form them stating that they liked my testimony so much they wanted to ship me a FREE box of the driving energy along with samples of their other products!!! WOW!!!! So as you can see from the picture in this post, they really gave me the hook up!

Because of their generosity, I decided I would write up this little review and give them a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to help spread the word. Feel free to leave a comment with any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them! If you want to check them out and get your own to try, just visit this link: ZenEvoChocolate.com. I am not an affiliate and I won’t get anything if you purchase – I am simply returning the generosity they have already extended to me. They didn’t ask me to do this. I am just doing it. 😀

If you decide to get some, I would LOVE to hear from you! Just shoot me an email at angela@angelaknows.com!
