Hello friends! I am here to ask for your help once again. There was such an outpouring of love and compassion the last time, when I helped a young family get some much needed food – I will never forget your generosity and support and I’m sure they won’t either!
So here is the deal – it is cold outside, lows in the 20’s and highs at most in the 40’s – and a friend of mine is now finding herself and her two boys homeless due to financial distress. One of her sons has a blood disorder as well as a hip disorder, which require frequent visits to specialized doctors in Wichita (45m-1hr from here) and sometimes hospital stays. As a result, this makes holding down a job difficult for her. She is now being evicted (was only given 2 weeks notice) and has to be out TODAY (12/30/15). She has not had any luck with resources to help out. Here is what she needs:
- People with trucks (and/or a trailer) who can help her move their belongings to a storage unit within a few hours (it’s is 10:40 am as of this writing)
- Monetary contributions (see below to offer a donation – money will be given in the form of a gift card unless you specify otherwise)
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. The boys are ages 11 and 13.
To drop off a donation, bring it by 1125 E. 4th Ave, Suite 3 (contact me for after hours drop off).
Otherwise you can donate below. Contact me directly (620.259.9366 or firstname.lastname@example.org) if you can offer assistance with a truck, shelter, or work. THANK YOU!!!
